8-month investigation ends with early morning drug raid
After an eight-month investigation into alleged drug activities, police in Maryland took three men into custody on Nov. 13. Police say the investigation began in March after information was gathered about alleged drug sales taking place in Westminster. The investigation was concluded with a search and seizure that took place at a residence on East Green Street at about 4:30 a.m.
During the search, investigators allegedly discovered amounts of alleged cocaine, heroin and marijuana. A loaded handgun and $11,642 in cash was also seized from the home. Three men in the home were taken into custody and now face felony drug charges.
